For almost 30 years M&M Equipment has been rebuilding commercial bowl choppers in our Chicagoland facility. We have extensive background in rebuilding Seydelmann, Laska, Talsa, Nowicki, and many other well known industry brands. Bowl choppers (bowl cutters) can be used for cutting meat products but can also be utilized in snack foods such as protein bars. The goal is simply to get the right consistency while getting the right blend of flavor and temperature for your next step in processing.

Specific objects, such as plastic, metal, and others, can fall from the equipment and into the food. This forces the user to invest in expensive repairs.

From rocket ships to cooking utensils and everything in between, you cannot avoid metal. In the manufacturing industry, metal is especially prevalent. Conveyor belt nuts, forklifts, bowls, clothing clasps – the list goes on and on – and any of these items may contact food products during the manufacturing process – sometimes more than once. This creates multiple risk points where contamination may occur. This is where industrial-grade metal detectors come in. This equipment is designed to ensure food products remain free from any type of metal contaminant, which ensures employees and consumers are not put in harm’s way.
